My Mother Is

Recently Augie learned about acrostics, and was conscripted into writing one as part of a school assignment. I’m not sure why he chose to use the word “MUSIC” as the foundation of his poem or how it necessarily relates to the final piece, but he absolutely captured the spirit of the task, which is to relate profound truths in poetry.

While I applaud his insight and skill, I must say I wonder a bit about the takeaways my children are getting from my deadline-induced nocturnal work behavior.

So, I am kind of curious as well.
